Bridge Terms of Service

Last updated: August 17, 2026 (first production draft — see the founder/legal review note at the bottom before this is treated as final).

These terms govern your use of Bridge by Shepherd ("Bridge"), operated by REMNANT Technologies LLC. By using Bridge, you agree to these terms.

1. What Bridge is

Bridge is a coordination tool that helps a church or ministry ("organization") match riders who need transportation with volunteer or staff drivers within that same organization. Bridge helps organize and track these rides; it does not itself operate a transportation service, employ drivers, or guarantee that a ride will be available at any given time. Each organization is responsible for how it recruits, screens, and manages its own drivers — organizations may use different standards for driver screening, and Bridge does not certify, license, or vouch for any driver's qualifications.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be invited or approved by an organization already using Bridge — there is no public, self-serve signup.
  • You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you provide (contact information, vehicle information, and, if applicable, credential expiration dates).
  • An organization may suspend or deactivate your access to Bridge within their organization at their discretion, consistent with their own policies.

3. If you're a rider

  • You're responsible for providing accurate pickup information and being reasonably available at the requested time.
  • Ride requests are fulfilled based on driver availability. Bridge does not guarantee that every ride request will be fulfilled or arrive at a specific time.
  • You can cancel a ride request; please do so as early as possible out of consideration for the assigned driver.

4. If you're a driver

  • You're responsible for holding a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance, and complying with your organization's own driver requirements and any applicable law.
  • Where your organization enables Driver Readiness tracking, you're responsible for keeping your license/insurance/registration expiration dates current in the app; your organization determines whether out-of-date documentation affects your ability to be assigned rides.
  • Bridge tracks the information you and your organization enter — it does not independently verify your license, insurance, or driving record. Your organization is responsible for whatever screening process it chooses to use.

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, Bridge will send you updates about ride status (such as a new assignment or a status change). You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Bridge for any purpose other than coordinating legitimate transportation within your organization.
  • Provide false pickup, contact, or vehicle information.
  • Attempt to access another organization's data, or another user's account.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt Bridge's operation.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Bridge available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Bridge may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or unexpected outages.

8. Relationship to our Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy describes what information we collect and how it's used, and is part of these terms.

9. Account suspension

We may suspend or terminate access to Bridge for violation of these terms, at our discretion or at your organization's request.

10. Limitation of liability

Bridge is a coordination tool between volunteers/staff within your own organization. REMNANT Technologies LLC is not the transportation carrier and is not responsible for the conduct of individual riders or drivers, the condition of any vehicle, or the outcome of any specific ride. [FOUNDER/LEGAL REVIEW: this section needs real legal drafting — the paragraph above states the factual/architectural reality (REMNANT operates the coordination software, not a fleet), but the actual liability-limitation language, applicable law, and dispute-resolution terms should be reviewed by counsel before this is final.]

11. Changes to these terms

We'll update this page if these terms change, and update the date at the top.
